A bit late, but we bought a new bbq in September from Classic Fireplace and everything was fantastic. The service we received and the delivery of the bbq was top notch. And the new bbq works so well.
We just updated the original wood fireplace to a more modern and efficient gas fireplace. This team was wonderful to deal with. We made a couple of visits to the large showroom. Babz, in sales, helped us select the the best option given our needs and wants. A quick site check by Stephen helped confirmed the install was possible and the model we selected would fit. The installation team, Kyle and Conner did an mazing job removing the old fireplace and installing the new unit. There was no damage whatsoever! Our new fireplace will provide us with worry free comfort for many years to come. It was a pleasure dealing with this team.

I received a call from one of the owners, Jay, who listened to my concerns. Jay provided me with a resolution and a timeline of when to expect it.
I'd like to point out that Jay called me on New Years Eve. I really appreciated that he did not wait or brush off my concerns.
I am satisfied with Jay's response, feel confident Classic will follow through and hence have updated my review.

I really like to avoid leaving a bad review for a business and like to give multiple opportunities to address an issue, and I find my self still unable to resolve what appears to be a straight forward issue.
I purchased a brand new insert in late 2023 and had it installed by a WETT professional. Almost immediately there were issues with the left blower fan, but I didn't use the insert much in 2024.
This year I made some more observations and noted the fan wasn't operating correctly. I called Classic; I was told to contact Pacific Energy.
I contacted Pacific Energy on Novemebr 3rd, 2025. There response on December 10, 2025 was I need a new left blower and that the dealer I purchased from would address it.
I spoke to Classic on December 10th, 2025 and the person on the phone asked me to forward the email from Pacific Energy to her and that they would get back to me. I did. And then another email a couple days ago, no response (understandbly it's holiday season now).
It's now new years eve and I still haven't received a response. I don't know when I will get a response. However at this point I feel the purpose of buying a new insert was to get peace of mind via buying quality and warranty service. I don't belive the run-around and wait period this long is justified over a left fan blower. It is upsetting to spend a good chunk of money, have a nice fireplace insert, yet not be comfortable to use it.
If there is an update, I will update this review. I'm hoping my experience with this dealer is a one-off or one giant misunderstanding.
I was looking to put in a gas fireplace insert and my brother recommended Classic Fireplace in Scarborough as he had two great experiences with them. They certainly did not disappoint. Thang was super helpful in the showroom as I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, answered all my questions etc. The install was a little tricky because of the existing fireplace opening (and because I’m kinda picky) but Steve did an absolutely outstanding job with the install, it looks perfect!!! Steve had to cut existing stone and chip bricks and I was delighted when there was no mess left behind, couldn’t believe it!!! I waited almost 20 years to have a gas insert put in and I could not be happier with the result! Thank you guys so much for everything!
Called for to schedule a cleaning after we did not receive a call back from the service department. Edward and Steven were both amazing and were able to talk me through how to change the batteries for the pilot light module inside the unit itself.
Great customer service can still be found as shown by these two employees! Who both took the time insure a great customer service experience
